- Registration
How do I register?
Please go to the Advertisers page and click Register in the New Advertiser's section. Enter your chosen username, password and your email address and click Register. Log back in with your username and password at the top of the page and complete your contact details. You are then ready to click Add Property and enter your property details. Remember to click Update at the end of each section.
- Passwords
How do I change my password?
Login using your existing password and in your admin area click Change Password. Enter your existing password and enter your new password. Confirm your new password and click Change. Your password will now be automatically changed.
How do I get my password if I forget it?
Go to the advertisers page and click Email me a reminder. You will be asked to enter your email address and your password will be sent to you in a few minutes.
- Your Property Details
How do I input my property details?
After logging in to your admin area you should click Add Property. Follow the instructions on the page and add text into the boxes. Click the feature boxes that are relevant to your property. If the text information is already stored on your computer in word documents you can cut and paste the information into the boxes. Remember to click the Update button at the end of each section or all your hard work will be lost. Finally you can see your property details as customers will see them by clicking the View button from your Admin area. When you property is ready to go live you should email support@spain-holidayrentals.com
What style of writing should I use?
Please write in clear, concise sentences avoiding capital letters at all times. Be precise as you only have a short time to gain the interest of the prospective customer in your property.
How do I upload my photographs?
Click GO under Update/change pictures. You can then browse your PC for the relevant photos and click Upload. "Pictures speak a thousand words" and play a very important part in selling your property. Please ensure they are of best quality (preferably taken on a sunny day) and are in jpeg or jpg format.
Can you take my photos from another web site?
Only from your own web site. Copyright laws restrict us from copying from other sites.
How do I enter the photo captions?
Click GO under update/change pictures. Your photos will appear in a pop up box and you can rename the captions for each photo
How can I change my property details?
You can log in to your admin area at any time and click Update next to the property you wish to change. Remember to click Update next to the section you have changed. We will review the changes and release them to your site within hours.
Can I advertise more than one property on my site?
No. We allow one property to be represented on one property page. Additional properties can be advertised very cost effectively see prices below
- Prices
What are your charges?
The standard charge for advertising for a full year is £99 for the first property. For each subsequent property the charge is £30 p.a. These charges include up to 8 photographs. If you are not able to input the details yourself we provide an input facility. You complete the relevant forms, post them to us and we process them at a one off charge of £30. If you cannot upload your photographs we provide a scanning service at £1 per photo. If you require a change of photograph at any time the charge is £4 per photo (plus scanning charge if applicable).
Can I link to my own website?
We have a reciprocal linking arrangement with our customers who have single property websites. We do not link to multi property websites unless all of those properties are advertised on our site. Please email your website address to websites@spain-holidayrentals.com . We will check your link to our site and add our link to your site on your property page.
How do I make payment?
Customers will be billed by email when the property has gone live on the site. Payment can be made by cheque or direct credit to our bank account. On line credit and debit card payment facilities will be launched shortly.
