All bedrooms and studio have Air Conditioning/Heating. BAR / ENTERTAINING LOUNGE,POOL TABLE,54"TV WITH SURROUND SOUND,VIDEO with large selection of video's,HI-FI,CD,DARTS and a STOCKED BAR. Enjoy the OUTDOOR POOL 10x5 metre with SLIDE, SHOWER,SUNBEDS,HAMMOCK and garden furniture.INDOOR HEATED POOL 9X3.5 metre,seperate JACUZZI room,Sauna,shower,toilet and changing room. THE SUMMERHOUSE by the outdoor pool is fully equippted for el fresco dinning. The large covered BBQ/OUTDOOR KITCHEN with terrace is to the side.The SUNDECK on top is a suntrap it has sunbeds and parasols. The water gardens are delightful with various terraced area's for sun and shade, where our two big terrapins George and Mildred are our resident guest's. There is a child proof gate at the entrance by the BBQ. The Villa is always maintained to a high standard. There is a generous welcome pack for your arrival,the Bar and wine rack are stocked for you. All linen,towels and robes are provided. Air Conditioning/Heating,Electric,Gas and Maid Service are included.

VILLA de la FUENTE occupies a quiet position on the urbanisation, however,is only a short drive to the coast road and the popular towns of Fuengirola,Benalmadena and La Cala, which all have great beaches and water sports. Marbella and Peurto Banus are 20 minutes,Gibralter 1hour 30 minutes and Sevilla 2 hours 30 minutes. There is an abundance of old Spanish Villages that can be reached by turning inland off the main coastal road, the N340. Our neighbouring village,which is further inland and a 10 minute drive, is MIJAS PUEBLO. It is enchanting with numerous restaurants,shops and bars. You can have a carriage ride around the narrow streets or even go by donkey. There is a beautiful walk which takes you around the edge of Mijas,the views are spectacular. A car is not essential if you want a relaxing holiday around the villa and only want to use the local shops and restaurants. Taxis are quite prompt when called to the villa. Outings to places stretching from Gibraltar to Grenada can be made in a day by coach. However, should you wish to be independant and adventurous a car is essential.

Local Activities around Villa in Fuengirola-Mijas

SHOPPING, RESTAURANTS, ENTERTAINMENT By way of a short drive or 10 to 15 minute walk from Villa Fuente, just off the urbanisation are the local Mini Supermarket, Tapas bar/bakery, Pizza bar and Chemist. There are four restaurants all quite different which will suit all tastes. The large Hypermarket is just a little further, perhaps another 3 to 4 minutes drive where you can purchase all your requirements. Mijas Golf Club is a 5 minute drive providing excellent facilities and has two 18-hole courses. There are many more Golf courses all within 10 to 45 minutes drive. Lew Hoads Tennis Club,horse riding,go-karting and the Aqua Park are all nearby. The Sierra Nevada ski slopes are a 2 hour drive away, during some months of the year you could be on the beach in the morning and ski'ing in the afternoon. Sealife Centre, Dolphins show,Tivoli World, Eagle Garden, El Ranchito and Selwo Nature Park are all within 30 minutes drive. Peurto Banus and Benalmadena Mariners are worth a visit they have good restaurants, shopping and are great for a pastime most of us enjoy, people watching. Getting to this Villa in Fuengirola-Mijas

Villa Fuente is a 25 minute drive from Malaga International Airport and has easy access either along the coast road or inland by a scenic route along the Autovia this is the route chosen by taxi drivers. Should you travel by ferry to Bilbao or Santander Which we have done many times,it is 620 miles / 1000 klm. The roads are good and there are some wonderful views along the way.
