The accommodation is a privately owned, fully air conditioned, apartment situated in the quiet and secure complex of Gran Calahonda it is tastfully furnished in a typical Spanish style and comprises of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living / dining area with UK satalite TV and Video. It has a fully fitted kitchen including fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The large balcony has lovely sea views and allows the opportunity to enjoy relaxing, and eating, in the fresh air furthermore the apartment is only a 5 minute walk to the beach, numerous bars and good quality restaurants. Situated on the third floor of a four story building, access is gained into the apartment by a lift direct from an underground garage, the entrance to which is via remote controlled doors.The entrance door to the apartment opens into a vestibule which links to the main living and dining area. Ample relaxed seating is available with two '2 seater' settees. Access onto the balcony is from the living area through large patio doors. A table and four reclining chairs are on the balcony along with a couple of basket chairs in which you can sit back and soak up the view. The main bedroom has a second set of patio doors to gain direct access onto the balcony, it is furnished with twin beds and has en suite facilities. The second bedroom has a double bed, both bedrooms have ample wardrobe space. All rooms have Air Conditioning and ceiling mounted fans to give air circulation. The Gran Calahonda complex has three swimming pools and two floodlit tennis courts all of which are available to use free of charge. There is also the added benefit of a security 'video phone' to the main gate and a the apartment is fitted with a safe.

Calahonda is only 25 minutes from Malaga airport and is situated in an area surrounded by many Golf courses, wonderful safe sandy beaches and plenty of small fishing ports where you can find places to relax, eat and generally soak up the sunshine in this part of the Costa del Sol.For thoses of you that like to explore the 'real' Spain, with it's small, white painted, towns then these are only a few Kilometers inland and the bustleing city of Marbella (and it's port of Peuto Banus where the worlds wealthiest people moor their boats) is a 10/15 minute drive.For the shoppers it goes without saying that every week there are many local street markets taking place in and around the area where you can pick up many bargins. Do not forget that Gibralta is only a 45 minute drive away and is well worth the visit not only for the wonderful views and the history, but also the 'duty free' shopping!Although we hope you will not require them of course Calahonda is well equiped with doctors, medical centres and dentists should you be unfortunate to be taken ill during your stay.

With Calahonda situated just over half way between Malaga airport and Marbella and well served with roads, taxis, coach tours and buses so what ever means of transport you choose you will not be isolated.The main shopping area with its bars and restaurants is 'El Zoco', only a 5 minute stroll from the apartment (and, unlike other places in the area it is also on the flat with no hills to negotiate).This part of the Costa del Sol is renowned for it's 'all year round' sunshine, so not only is it a golfers paradise but beach and sun lovers can be sure of a relaxing holiday whatever time of the year you visit.
From Malaga Airport it only takes 25 minutes by road to get to Calahonda and the apartment is very easy to find, fully detailed directions will be sent with an information pack should you decide to book a holiday with us.Although most people will hire a car at the airport to enable them to tour around and explore the many sites this part of the Costa del Sol the apartment is situated very close to amenities and so this is by no means a neccessity, indeed, if you do not wish to hire a car we can arrange an airport collection by one of our English collegues to meet you and take you directly to the apartment.Another important benefit with the apartment is that we do not operate set turn round days therefor it is possible to book and take full advantage of the cheap scheduled airfares from the UK to Malaga.
