The house itself is a traditional village house, completely restored and finished to a high standard, built on three floors with courtyards and a roof terrace with amazing views of the valley and the snow-capped mountains of the Sierra Nevada. Our property consists of: Two twin bedded rooms both with ensuite shower rooms, one with traditional fireplace and wood burner, built in wardrobes. One double bedroom with ensuite shower room, hairdryer and built in wardrobe. Lounge/diner with wood burner, satellite TV, two comfortable settees and two swivel chairs, dinning table to seat six, information books. Wonderful views of valley below. Modern fully fitted kitchen with hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and fridge freezer. Utility room with washing machine and iron. Traditional wooden beamed ceilings throughout. Outside wonderful roof terrace in two parts with sunloungers and table and chairs. Shared courtyard with fountain.

Andalucia’s Lecrin Valley is rich, diverse and unspoilt, a place where relaxation comes swiftly in a stress free environment. Planted with orange, lemon, olive and almond trees it is situated between Granada and Motril on the coast of Costa Tropical in the foothills of the Alpujjas. The Lecrin valley has been described in the independent as one of the loveliest in the country offers a window on the real Spain whilst still having everything the holiday maker needs bank, shops, restaurants, bars and swimming pools. There is fantastic walks, horse riding, fishing and cycling in the valley and water parks, golf, water sports and skiing near by The village of Saleres is picturesque, nestling at the foot of a river valley. It is about as traditional as you can get in spain, somewhere where you are more likely to see a mule rather than a car load of tourists. There is a local spanish bar in the village and plenty of bars, resturants and shops close by, many resturants having beautiful terraces with views of the valley.

The property is ideally located for the coast which is approximately 30 minutes drive and the skiing which is approximately one hours drive. You have the lovely situation of being able to ski in the morning and sunbathe in the afternoon! The historical city of Granada is about one hours drive away, with its lively morracan quarter and the famous Alhambra Palace. Each village in the valley holds it own festival every year, our village of Saleres holds their festival in October, they are always intersting events to watch!

Granada Airport is the closest approximately 30 minutes drive. Malaga airport is a scenic two hour drive. Car hire is essential due to the rural location of this property.
