The living accommodation is in the millroom extending to 40 feet, retaining much of the original corn grinding machinery. Floors are tiled in local terracotta and rooms are furnished in the typical Spanish style.

Set in the countyside yet only 45 minutes from Malaga airport and one and a half hours from Granada airport. The area is renowned for its olives and olive oil. Properties in the area are scattered. A mile from the rural village of Periana which provides a range of shops, banks, bars and restaurants. The mill is an ideal location to unwind and relax on your own patio with private pool. From Autumn 2006 the pool will be covered, to extend the swimming season.

The mill is an ideal location for simply unwinding on the private patio or relaxing in your own pool (pool towels provided). The patio has a shaded area and a barbecue. You can follow the walks along the lanes that start from the door taking you by fruit and olive plantations. Some routes to places of interest are signposted on the main roads and can be followed by car. The mill contains a selection of guidance sheets for suggested walks and drives. There are a number of national parks in the area, for instance the park of El Torcal. The city of Granada, with the Alhambra nearby and the Sierra Nevada are within easy reach. The coast provides miles of beaches, a water park and numerous restaurants. The caves at Nerja are popular. Malaga airport is 45 minute drive away and Granada is one and a half hours. The mill is near the upland Andalucian village of Periana. This is directly north of the seaside resort of Torre del Mar and north of Lake Vinuela. Full location and travel directions will be provided to clients.
